The Nike Kyrie 4 “Green Lobster” was another important release of Kyrie Irving’s fourth signature model in 2018. The limited edition colorway was released in partnership with Boston-based sneaker shop Concepts, which originally created a “Lobster” colorway for a now-legendary Nike SB Dunk. This Nike Kyrie 4 “Green Lobster” ties the crustacean theme to Irving and the Boston Celtics with a green rendition of the theme. The Kyrie 4 features a speckled green suede upper, bright yellow laces, and rubber bands on the toes to reference the practice of keeping a lobster’s claws closed when they go to market. The shoe was originally released in extremely limited quantities in Boston at a special raffle hosted by Concepts on August 31, 2018.
